Quito-Cotacachi (2016-2019)

PARIR is a community art meeting that aims to generate a dialogue between the ritual spaces of the ancestral worldview and the creation of stage performances, thus generating different perspectives and ways of understanding childbirth.

The project was born from the need to share and exchange diverse methodologies, practices, tools and experiences that allow us to articulate and question the idea of what creation is.

The meeting has brought together artists with extensive stage experience, local organizations, students, researchers and neighbors who enrich and contribute to this process from their own perspectives, generating new possibilities for thinking about creative processes in the community.
