Ancash- Peru (2016-2020)

It is a meeting of art and memory in the Ancash region of Peru. Through the presentation of various high-quality artistic works and the exchange of knowledge in the communities, the aim is to generate a space for artistic training and contribute to the strengthening of the identity processes of memory and peace in the region.

For five years, this artistic-pedagogical meeting has generated links with the community, building dialogues and spaces for reflection on the issues that concern the community and on their own stories, thus rescuing memory and traditions through theater.

The word Masintin comes from Quechua and is a fundamental principle in the Andean worldview that refers to correspondence, identity and solidarity.
