AGRO THEATRE: BODY, MASK AND MOVEMENT WORKSHOP is a pedagogical proposal promoted by the Yama Collective to approach and reflect on the agricultural diversity of our Andean region and the problems faced by native seeds from the body, the mask and the movement. In this workshop we will investigate and create various presences and characters based on native seeds such as corn, potatoes and sweet potatoes with the purpose of intervening in public space to reflect and show the agricultural diversity that we have. This proposal consists of three stages:

Presentation of the COMIC MUSICAL AGRO THEATRE “PAPAKUNA” AND CONVERSATION WITH THE ACTRESSES ABOUT THE CREATIVE PROCESS. PAPAKUNA (potatoes in Kichwa) is a theatrical creation project with multiple languages that seeks to rescue and socialize the value of the diversity of native potatoes existing in Ecuador as part of our cultural and food heritage, in a context of gradual loss of native seeds in the Ecuadorian highlands, increase in monoculture in the countryside and loss of food sovereignty.
